  2. In the Sixth Form, all courses are A Level qualifications. Key Stage 3. At Key Stage 3 students in Year 7, 8 and 9 study broadly with a slight emphasis on the EBacc subjects of English, mathematics, science, languages, history and geography. Languages includes Latin and it is studied by our ninety much able students.

  3. As the groups were so large, they were again divided, typically into 3. Later the "A" "B" etc. grading was considered to be bad for children's self-esteem, so "A" "B" and "C" were replaced by "H" "P" and "S" (Holland Park School). Nowadays, the banding system is divided into 4 bands, each with 3 levels inside them.

  4. GCSEs are at levels 1 and 2 on the National Qualifications Framework, depending on the grade achieved (see the table on page 3). All GCSE ex- aminations are now graded from 9-1 rather than A*-G. A table of comparison is included below for your reference.

  5. 14 lug 2023 · Students and staff at Holland Park School are celebrating another year of excellent A Level results, which have seen many Sixth Formers secure places at the UK’s best universities. Overall, over half (56%) of the Schools A Level entries were awarded the top A* or A grades.
