Johns Hopkins Medicine continues to follow the highest level of safety precautions as we care for our patients and work with our communities during the coronavirus pandemic. Please use this site to learn more about patient care, testing, vaccinations and additional information about COVID-19.
This table provides a daily update from Johns Hopkins Medicine care facilities about the number of patients who test positive for COVID-19 and the number of patients hospitalized for COVID-19 in our hospitals. The majority of patients who test positive recover at home and do not require hospitalization.
The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 illness this fall and winter. The updated COVID vaccines for the fall/winter 2023-24 season are based on a variant called XBB.1.5. They are the only COVID vaccines that are available this season.
