Visitor information. Opening Hours. Monday to Friday 2pm - 5pm. Saturday 10am - 5pm. Sunday 12 noon - 5pm. Last entry is always 4:30pm. The College will be closed to the public on the following: Sunday 23rd to Tuesday 25th June inclusive due to Choir recordings. Weds 26th to Thursday 27th June inclusive due to University Open Days.

Visitors to Merton are often told that Mob Quad is the oldest quadrangle of any Oxford or Cambridge college and set the pattern for future collegiate architecture. It was built in three phases: 1288–1291, 1304–1311, and finally completed with the Library in 1373–1378. [34]
