26 set 2022 · The University has been ranked 32nd in the Guardian University Guide 2023, making this year’s performance its highest ever ranking in the national league table. The table ranks universities on several metrics including their students’ levels of satisfaction and career prospects after graduating.
Academic > Progression. What you need to achieve so you can move on to your next year of study. The university has progression guidelines and sends out progression emails every year. We know the guidelines can be confusing so we’ve tried to break them down here.
Degree Classifications. How your degree is calculated. We know that degree classifications can be confusing. In short, you need to have all your credits to graduate and your average module marks for your second and third years will determine which degree class you'll get.
Progress or proceed. You progress into your next level of study when you have sucessfully passed all of your modules. Allowed to proceed. Although you have not passed all of your credits you may be allowed to proceed into your next level of study.
