Bastion Point, also known as Takaparawhau, is a coastal area in Auckland, New Zealand, with a significant Māori heritage and a marae. It was the site of protests against land confiscation by the Crown in the 1970s and is now a public reserve with a memorial to Michael Joseph Savage.
