Schlosshotel Kronberg (Castle Hotel Kronberg) in Kronberg im Taunus, Hesse, near Frankfurt am Main, was built between 1889 and 1893 for the dowager German Empress Victoria and originally named Schloss Friedrichshof (Friedrichshof Castle) in honour of her late husband, Emperor Frederick III (Friedrich III).

Built under commission from Empress Victoria Friedrich and completed in 1893, Schloss Friedrichshof is today one of the most impressive German castles and offers its guests living history to touch and feel.
Today, Schloss Friedrichshof is run as Schlosshotel Kronberg. Original furnishings and the imperial couple's collection of paintings and antiques create a special ambience: afternoon tea can probably only be enjoyed more exclusively and authentically in England itself.
