Pochi km a nord di Bensheim, nella frazione di Auerbach, non esitate a prendere la strada che sale a questo castello. Il castello è parzialmente in rovina , ma abbastanza ben conservato e restaurato da consentire una visita fin sulle torri, con splendida vista sui rilievi dell'Odenwald e su Bensheim e la pianura renana.
