Dean Kastran (born October 22, 1948) is an American bass guitarist from Ohio. He was the original bassist who toured as a member of Ohio Express.
The reformed lineup, beginning in 2016, featured original members Don Dannemann and Michael Losekamp, joined by Pat McLoughlin, Mike Rousculp (d. 2019), Don White, Scott Langley, and later Mike Shoaf (2019–2021). Dean Kastran, a founding member of The Ohio Express, joined the band in June 2021.
Bassist Dean Kastran became a member of national act called The Cyrkle beginning in June 2021. He also plays bass and sings in the Eggerton-Kastran Group (a.k.a., EKG), an acoustic duo with vocalist/guitarist Denny Eggerton, and the five-piece band the Caffiends, both based in Mansfield, Ohio.
