In the the pics posted here, of Paul and Nishioka, you can clearly see: the T-shaped profile ( aka "area 1" in the Yonex illustration below) from the 2023 VCore 98 in the middle of the throat - in both frames. the H-shaped profile in the bottom of the throat (aka "area 2") - in Paul's frame.

2 set 2024 · I am all the way Tommy Paul hypetrain. He deserves some break through. He plays well. I wish a new GS champ (Zverev, Paul, Dimitrov - it would be nice). Honestly, I don´t think that Sinner is a bad person in a private life out of tennis. But a fishy "Richelieu" Cahill is systematically pushing Sinner. Only Sinner knows if he knows or no.

His take back to the point of hitting is loopy, yet typical Next-Gen forehand usually point the racket head to the opponent, but he did not. And is his forehand semi-western ?

Paul and Rybakina started with glosst rackets for longer time, same as Shapovalov (Blade pro for Paul, Vcore SV100 for Rybakina, and Vcore SV95 for Shapo, all glossy in retail model) and that's why they kept using glossy. Tiafoe (Duel G 97), Osaka (Ezone AI98), Hurkacaz (Vcore pro 97 Navy), all of them started with Matte Yonex Rackets ...

Update: during Tommy's AO semi vs Djoker, Daren Cahill just stated that TP has yet to formally sign with Yonex but carries the stencil "out of respect" for the company.
