17 mar 2021 · Italy is gone. Hopefully I get enough war contribution to secure a good position against SU or Allies later on. As Portugal it was better to destroy Allies first (after Axis) and Comintern last. As Bulgaria it might be better to crush SU first and Allies after because the naval buildup is gonna be much slower than with Portugal.
21 lug 2016 · Bulgaria will join IIRC as soon as you fire 2nd Vienna. Bulgaria can help with Greece and Yugoslavia and can be used as garrisons in the Balkans. Romania will join you as soon as Russia fires Bessarabia. They are definitely useful in Russia. I don't bother wasting time invading and puppeting them.
21 mar 2021 · I stumbled across the below guide recently, and was able to get the Bulgaria "Prussia of the Balkans" and "Balkan Problem Solved" achievements yesterday. I recommend it to anyone who's been frustrated by these achievements (like I was). The strategy is mostly idiot-proof, and unlike many Bulgaria guides, has a minimal reliance on RNG events.

17 gen 2022 · Earlier was easy to look this, because You need just some intel power in Turkey to see her focus; now this is little more harder, but still doable. 2. Conquer Bulgaria - You can puppet them, if You want. 3. Delay Your focus a little bit - for ensure, that You declare war on Turkey just after guarantees disapear.

Nothing prevents either the Comintern or the Allies for trying for a coup and getting Bulgaria into their camp, other the very questionable benefit of having Bulgaria on your side. Bulgaria is coded to actively align with the Axis as soon as she gets Cavarna province 4058 thru event 2401.
15 dic 2017 · Hey all! I've been playing some dry runs of a Romanian game where I wanna' go down the Balkan Dominance tree. So far, my strategy has been to focus on economic focuses while I build up my army (I figure I need 55 divisions of int/art with Recon, Engineers, Arty and AT to unlock the relevant national focuses concerning Hungary and Bulgaria).
