Hisashi Sasaki (佐々木尚, Sasaki Hisashi) is the editor-in-chief of Weekly Shōnen Jump. Earlier in his career he had worked with Moritaka's uncle Nobuhiro as his editor. He eventually had to break the news that Nobuhiro would have to leave Shōnen Jump , leading to his unemployment and eventual death.
