5 giorni fa · Viewed on DVD. Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window is without doubt one of my favorite films as it seems to employ all of the elements of Hitchcock’s style. Rear Window is a film based on voyeurism with a major part of the film reflecting on image and reaction, as the male gaze is mostly directed toward the female which is the case in most films.
1 giorno fa · Maybe Hitchcock never tasted egg yolk in its raw state, but he was apparently able to overcome his fears to eat them whipped up into fluffy, buttery quiche Lorraine. That might have something to do with the fact that his quiche Lorraine was prepared by his wife, Alma Reville, whom Hitchcock considered a fantastic cook.

3 dic 2021 · Answer: 17. Hitchcock was a stickler for realism. He sent a prop man out for a watermelon for the stabbing sound effects. Knowing Hitch, the prop man came back with casabas, cantaloupes, and honeydews as well. Hitch then 'auditioned' the melons with his eyes {closed;} the casaba won.
