Tratta da una recente (2008) opera di Mark Millar, il film di Matthew Vaughn mantiene un certo spirito fumettistico (sottolineato dalla presenza di alcune "tavole" disegnate) ma ha anche la capacità di approfondire la personalità dei personaggi, grazie ad una buona sceneggiatura.
