  3. John Burroughs School. Burroughs is an inclusive college preparatory day school for students in grades 7-12. The Burroughs experience is distinguished by objectives set by our founders in 1923, including a mix of informality, community service and traditions such as morning assembly and family-style lunch, which bring us together daily.

  4. Tuition for the 2023-2024 school year is $34,700. Other charges — for books, supplemental classroom materials, athletic teams, and field trips — can cost more than an additional $1,000 per year. Tuition for the 2024-2025 school year will be set in January 2024. Our policies and process regarding tuition aid are set forth below.

As the sun set, family, friends, students, and alums headed to Graduation Grove and the STAR Building Overlook to cheer on the 110 seniors graduating as members of the Class of 2024.
