31 gen 2007 · The loud and mysterious Masters of Reality resurface with this 1997 live set, mostly a mix of tunes from their first and second albums. Though Ginger Baker's not here (and wouldn't that have been a treat?) to dress up the songs from "Sunrise on the Sufferbus," there's lots to recommend.
The reissue had a new cover, a change in song sequence and the addition of the song "Doraldina's Prophecies". Delicious Vinyl would reissue the album again in 2012 on deluxe compact disc and vinyl, bundled with the live album How High the Moon: Live at the Viper Room.

Those records helped pave the way for a new career in production for Goss, and Masters of Reality went on hiatus for several years. Goss reunited with Googe in 1997, adding guitarist Brendon McNichol and drummer Victor Indrizzo for a series of live dates that resulted in the album How High the Moon: Live at the Viper Room.
