8 ott 2017 · “The Desaturating Seven” affoga in un vuoto contenutistico di cui non ci si capacita, guardiamo scorrere i minuti e susseguirsi le tracce quasi attoniti che non accada nulla durante l’ascolto. Non rimane impresso un ritmo, un refrain, nemmeno qualche ‘scherzetto’ tipico dei Primus.

The Seven came a creepin'. The Seven came to play. The Seven filled the land with a cold dismay. Seven came slaking their wretched thirst.
Insomma, “The Desaturating Seven”, non sarà certo come navigare in un mare di formaggio, ma almeno una pestata ad un Formaggino Mio, sì. Quello sì. Orbene, or dunque mi sovviene, a questo punto, una domanda a me stesso: giunti i Primus al traguardo del nono album, riusciranno ancora a sorprenderci, se non ad entusiasmarci?
