14 lug 2023 · Das Projekt »Baptismal« begann, als Kramer mich einlud, mit ihm an einem Projekt zusammenzuarbeiten, und ich neige dazu, in Begriffen zu denken, für die die Hörer heutzutage offen sind. Mir schwebte eine Aufnahme vor, die den Hörer aus der Hektik der Mainstream-Medien herausführt, und so kam ich auf die Idee einer Taufe, einer Art LP, bei der der Hörer ganz in die Musik eintauchen kann.

I suggested to Kramer the title Baptismal, and that the tracks would be called "Gedunk", a comical reference to the idea of being immersed in water, my own baptism as a child in the Christian faith, the Baptist church. I started by sending Kramer several tracks of Zither-centric music in the length of individual LP sides.
