Sydney Earle Chaplin is the second son of Sir Charles (Charlie) Chaplin and his second wife, actress Lita Grey. He and his older brother Charles Junior were raised by their mother after her divorce in 1927. Sydney served in the military after World War II and made his film debut in his father’s 1952 film Limelight.
