Report on Probability A is one of the most tedious and pedantic books I have ever read, but that in itself makes it extremely amusing in places. The book is a report on a bizarre situation in a house which once employed a chauffeur, gardener and secretary, all of whom no longer work there but are still camped out on the grounds - exactly why never becomes clear.
