23 gen 2007 · Parade of Chaos may not be my favorite Zao album (see Liberate te Ex Infernis) , but it scores strongly on all the points the matter. While some of the softer vocals, and even accoustic parts are suprising given Zao's agressive sound, they have always been experimental with their style, something that has helped them stand out from the other hardcore/metal bands.

Raging from melodic metalcore bands such as Killswitch Engage, to over the top heavy bands such as Converge. Zao have their own style to their name. This album is nothing like the Zao you would have heard in their early albums, or "Liberate Te Ex Inferis." This album is something different.

I could see your more adventurous college students finding this follow-up to Zao's self-titled effort interesting and even worth parting with some of their allowance from mama and daddy to purchase. While not merely twinged with angst, Zao expels their irritation violently like a pissed-off South African spitting cobra.
