For the first few seconds of the album, I felt like something was familiar about Miho Hatori's voice, and as I was scrolling down Cibo Matto's Spotify page, I see the name Gorillaz in their about section. Stereo Type A (also tagged as Stereotype A and stylised as STEREO ★ TYPE A) is the second studio album by Cibo Matto released in 1999. As the group disbanded in 2001, it was their last studio album prior to their 2011 reunion. The album peaked at number 171 on the Billboard 200, and also reached the top spot of CMJ's College charts.
