Jah Wobble, pseudoniem van John Wardle, (Stepney, 11 augustus 1958) is een Brits bassist, songwriter en dichter. Hij begon zijn carrière als bassist in 1978 bij de band Public Image Ltd. (PiL) die dat jaar werd opgericht door zijn jeugdvriend John Lydon , de frontman van Sex Pistols .
Jah Wobble wuchs in Whitechapel in Londons East End auf, wo er während seiner Zeit an Londons Kingsway College unter anderem auf Sid Vicious und seinen späteren Bandkollegen John Lydon stieß. Nachdem Lydon die Sex Pistols 1978 verlassen hatte, rekrutierte er Wobble für seine neugegründete Post-Punk -Band Public Image Ltd (PiL), in der Wobble von Mai 1978 bis Juli 1980 Mitglied war. [2]

In 2018, Wobble issued three albums. The first, Dream World, was recorded in his home studio and inspired by filmmaker Francois Truffaut, as well as the bassist's own memories of London, Brighton, and Manchester. The nine primarily instrumental compositions encompassed funk, classical, jazz, reggae, and electronic sounds.
