Drai rose to prominence in the 1980s, producing the movies The Woman in Red (1984) and Weekend at Bernie's (1989), before leaving the industry to open a string of high-profile restaurants and nightclubs.

Victor Drai, the movie producer, opened the first Drais nightclub in Las Vegas in 2002 and it quickly became a hotspot for celebrities and nightlife lovers. In 2013, Drais Nightclub opened its second location in Hollywood, California, and it has since become one of the most popular nightclubs in the city.
