Lita Grey. His second wife was Lita Grey (1908-1995). She played the flirtatious angel in The Kid and one of Edna’s maids in The Idle Class, and started out as the leading lady for The Gold Rush before falling for Charlie and then falling pregnant. She had two children with Chaplin, Charles Jr. and Sydney Earl.
Lita Grey. La deuxième femme de Chaplin était Lita Grey (1908-1995). Elle interpréta le rôle d’un ange dans Le Kid et d’une domestique dans Charlot et le masque de fer. Choisie pour le premier rôle féminin de La Ruée vers l’or, elle dut arrêter le tournage, étant tombée enceinte de Chaplin.
Lita Grey si sposò altre tre volte. Nel 1965 diede alle stampe la propria autobiografia. L’ultima apparizione televisiva nell’intervista rilasciata a Kevin Brownlow e David Gill per il loro documentario-tributo Chaplin sconosciuto (1982), nella quale racconta dei suoi tristi giorni quale moglie del gigante della cinematografia.
