Millepied, Benjamin nell'Enciclopedia Treccani - Treccani - Treccani. Ballerino e coreografo francese (n. Bordeaux 1977). Si è formato nella danza classica con V. Skouratov e ha inoltre studiato danza moderna con S. Tarraube-Martigny, per poi essere allievo di M. Rahn presso il Conservatoire national di Lione.

In 2001, he founded a touring company, Danses Concertantes, that performed worldwide.
Benjamin Millepied is a world-renowned choreographer, dancer, and rising director. In 2010, Millepied choreographed and starred in the Oscar winning feature Black Swan (2010). Since then, he has directed a number of short films, commercials, and music videos in collaboration with artists including Philip Glass, Mark Bradford, IO Echo, Lil Buck, and Zeds Dead.
