11 apr 2024 · Nel 1880, Renoir iniziò a lavorare a “La colazione dei canottieri”, un dipinto che catturasse l’atmosfera gioiosa e informale delle riunioni dei canottieri sull’Île des Impressionnistes. L’opera fu completata nel 1881 e presentata al pubblico nella mostra della Société des Artistes Indépendants di Parigi dello stesso anno.
