Synopsis. An updated 21st century version of the Emily Bronte novel set in modern day Malibu, California where the wealthy Earnshaw family adopts Heath, a troubled teenager. The Earnshaws teenage daughter, Cathy, falls madly in love with him, embittering her rich boyfriend, Eddie, and the rest of their exclusive, upscale community.

But with the new lowered expectations Wuthering High (2015) was watchable. One still recognize the story, even in it's bastardized modern high school rewrite. But I'm pretty sure those that love this story and it's older classic versions like Wuthering Heights (1939) would want to stay away from The Asylum version.
