She earned a solid reputation playing leading roles in comedies a reactress to comic leads, as she described it.
Synopsis. A young American widow travels to a remote English estate in the 1890s as governess to two young orphans,she later discovers that they are falling under the influence of evil spirits. Based on The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.
