31 mag 2016 · Mitchell and Rodway present Alexander Kellas to us in Prelude to Everest. Between 1907 and 1921, Kellas spent more time above 6000m than anyone, undertaking eight Himalayan expeditions. Kellas received relatively little attention in either mountaineering or scientific literature, in part because he died during the 1921 First British Expedition to Everest(The Reconnaissance).

Alexander Mitchell Kellas (* 21. Juni 1868 in Aberdeen ; † 5.
