Herbert Kretzmer (5 October 1925 - 14 October 2020) was a South African-born English journalist and lyricist. He was best known as the lyricist for the English-language musical adaptation of "Les Misérables" as well as for his long-time collaboration writing the English-language lyrics to the songs of French songwriter Charles Aznavour.
Herbert Kretzmer ( Kroonstad, 5 de outubro de 1925 – Londres, 14 de outubro de 2020) foi um jornalista e letrista sul-africano, conhecido pela colaboração em Les Misérables em 1985. [ 1] Como reconhecimento, foi nomeado ao Oscar 2013 na categoria de Melhor Canção Original por "Suddenly" na adaptação cinematográfica de 2012.
