Leben. Geraldine McEwan stand bereits seit ihrem 14. Lebensjahr auf der Bühne, als sie 1946 am Theatre Royal in Windsor debütierte. 1950, vier Jahre später, war sie bereits eine gefragte Schauspielerin im bekannten Londoner Theaterbezirk West End.

Il cinema piange la scomparsa di Geraldine McEwan, l’attrice 82enne celebre per aver interpretato sul piccolo schermo la celebre detective Miss Murple di Agatha Christie - in Italia in 12 serie tv dal 2004 al 2007 -, morta in seguito ad una terapia post infarto che l’aveva colpita a fine ottobre.
