Boarding is perhaps an inaccurate term for the personal atmosphere at Winchester. Every House here is its own family. It is extensive in number (a Winchester house has about sixty pupils), and diverse in its influences (Wykehamists come from many countries and their parents from many walks of life).

Winchester College is a world famous, independent boarding school in Hampshire for pupils aged 13-18, with a co-ed Sixth Form offering day places. Sixth Form applications are now open for September 2025 entry.
Located in Hampshire, Winchester College currently educates around 700 students. From 2022, girls will be allowed to join in a 50-50 split with boys to study for their A Levels.
