Die documenta in Kassel ist die bedeutendste Ausstellung zeitgenössischer Kunst weltweit. Seit 1955 zeigt sie alle fünf Jahre die aktuellen Tendenzen der Gegenwartskunst und bietet gleichzeitig Raum für neue Ausstellungskonzepte. Die nächste Ausstellung ist für die Zeit vom 12. Juni bis 19. September 2027 geplant.
De documenta is sinds 1955 de belangrijkste tentoonstelling van actuele beeldende kunst in de wereld. Deze tentoonstelling vindt eens in de vijf jaar plaats in Kassel (Duitsland). De tentoonstelling duurt precies honderd dagen en strekt zich meestal uit over de hele stad.
