She has named Melanie Stein as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, and—in consultation with President Cornish—Stein has named Claire Gleitman as dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences.

Liza P. Dhameeth (class of '23, philosophy major, English minor) is bound for the University of Michigan's prestigious Ross School of Business and intends upon graduation to enter law school. Ultimately, she aspires to serve as the chief legal officer of a fashion design company.
Dr. Melanie Stein was appointed provost and senior vice president for academic affairs in March 2022. She had been serving in an interim role since August 30, 2021. Prior to being named as interim provost, Dr. Stein served as the dean of Ithaca College’s School of Humanities and Sciences.
