En avril 1945, fuyant la Tchécoslovaquie, Lina Heydrich abandonna le cercueil en étain (vide) de son fils. Il fut fondu trois ans plus tard par le Laboratoire de Recherche Métallurgique qui emménagea sur le site.

Lina Mathilde Manninen (née von Osten, sebelumnya Heydrich; 14 Juni 1911 – 14 Agustus 1985) adalah istri Reinhard Heydrich, kepala RSHA dan tokoh sentral di Nazi Jerman. Ia merupakan putri seorang bangsawan kecil Jerman (ia bekerja sebagai guru sekolah desa), dan bergabung dengan Partai Nazi pada tahun 1929 lalu bertemu Reinhard Heydrich pada bulan Desember 1930.
