23 giu 2023 · Work on a new extension to St Patrick's Classical School in Navan is underway following a sod-turning by the Bishop of Meath and school patron, Bishop Tom Deenihan, on Thursday last. The new facility will house six general classrooms, a science laboratory and science preparation area, a home economics room, textile room, and a technology room.

In St Pat’s extra oral classes are put in place in Leaving Cert year but oral proficiency has to be worked at over the two years of the programme. Students who have shown an aptitude in French at Junior Certificate Level are encouraged to continue with it in Leaving Cert.
In keeping with the aims and objectives of St. Patrick’s Classical School as set down in the school’s Mission Statement, the Board of Management commits itself to the provision of a Transition Year programme, to a limited number of students, in keeping with the following NCCA guidelines.
Student Councils provide a representative structure through which students can debate issues of concern and undertake initiatives of benefit to the school and the wider community.
