Marc And The Mambas was a new wave band, started by Marc Almond in 1982 as an offshoot project from Soft Cell, with Anni Hogan and Matt Johnson. Their first single, Fun City / Sleaze (Take It, Shake It), was released in 1982 as a fanclub exclusive, with a track initially recorded as Soft Cell, and produced with the aid of Dave Ball.
