Paz Lenchantin. The Pixies are an American alternative rock band formed in 1986, in Boston, Massachusetts. Until 2013, the band consisted of Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass, vocals) and David Lovering (drums). They disbanded acrimoniously in 1993 but reunited in 2004.

The Pixies (Black Francis, Joey Santiago, David Lovering) reformed without Kim Deal (replaced by bassist Paz Lenchantin) and released three EPs later collected on Indie Cindy (2014). The music was an insult to the memory of the original Pixies. The meek folk-rock lullaby Greens and Blues is the only decent addition to their canon.
