5 ott 2023 · Brockhurst and Marlston House School. Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools is an Independent school catering for 2 year olds to 13 year olds. It is set in the countryside just outside Hermitage. Nursery, reception and Year 1 and year 2 children are taught in small mixed sex classes. From year 3 to Year 8 they are taught in single sex classes.
At Brockhurst and Marlston House we have an exceptional site with outstanding facilities and 500 acres of beautiful countryside to grow up in and to explore. We are truly a 'country prep-school' - and yet we are superbly located for service families just five minutes’ drive from the M4/A34 Newbury junction (J13).

Yet when we first visited Brockhurst and Marlston we drove away asking ourselves why we wouldn’t choose it. We knew immediately it was the school for us. It was conveniently located only five minutes from the M4 Junction 13 (Newbury / Hermitage), the boarding house was warm and homely, the facilities were incredibly modern, yet the school values were traditionally charming.
The Pre-Prep School, Ridge House, is a co-educational department of Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools for children aged 3–6 years, and is situated on the same site in new self-contained, purpose-designed accommodation. Our Pre-Prep also includes a 51 week a year Nursery.
