Tongue Twister was first, and I borrowed a friend's copy of Present Tense and played it until I he demanded it back and I had to get a copy of my own. Couldn't believe it when I stumbled across the CD 2 fer in my favorite old Vancouver record store (and sometimes label Zulu Records ) in 1989.
Shoes is an American rock band formed in Zion, Illinois in 1974. The group's musical style is influenced by British Invasion groups of the 1960s and has often been described as " power pop ". The original members were brothers John and Jeff Murphy, Gary Klebe and Skip Meyer.
