Op de hoes van het album Beyond staan drie sterke vrouwen van verschillende culturele achtergronden maar met een gemeenschappelijk doel: een liefdevolle verbintenis tussen mensen van diverse religies. Hoe wereldberoemd Tina Turner ook is, minder bekend is dat ze boeddhistisch is en al sinds 1994 in Zwitserland woont.
In 2009, they released their first album Buddhist And Christian Prayers. This album, produced by Gunther Mende and Mee Eun Kim-Mende, combined Buddhist chants and Christian choral music along with a spiritual message read by Turner. The album was released only in Germany and a handful of other countries. It peaked at number 7 in Switzerland.

7 lug 2010 · In this CD we have Tina Turner chanting three Buddhist prayers and a spiritual message, Dechen Shak-Dagsay singing Buddhist prayers, and Regula Curti singing Christian prayers. Review. All religion teaches the virtues of love, altruism and patience, while showing us how to discipline and transform ourselves to achieve inner peace and a kind heart.

Tina appeared on a German TV chat show last year with the two singers Dechen Shak-Dagsay and Regula Curti, introducing this new product, that has now appeared on CD. The CD consists of Christian and Buddhist prayers chanted by Dechen and Regula, with Tina also chanting three prayers in addition to a couple of messages spoken by her.

6 set 2023 · In 2009, after she retired from touring, she began to fulfill this dream by recording spiritual messages and her chanting practice for the album Beyond: Buddhist & Christian Prayers. This interfaith album featured Turner, the Swiss-Tibetan singer Dechen Shak-Dagsay, and Swiss music therapist Regula Curti.
