Born in Swansea in 1961, Owen Teale trained at the Guildford School of Acting. He made his television debut in 1984 in The Mimosa Boys. He later appeared in Great Expectations, Knights of God and Boon . In the nineties, he was cast as Will Scarlet in Robin Hood . In 2005 he played the lead role in Marian, Again, directed by David Drury.
