Her score for The Turner Exhibit won best film score by The Monkey Bread Tree Film Awards. Her song “ One Door Opens ” was named a finalist in the SongDoor International Songwriting competition. She is an active educator and teaches Bachelor-level Music Theory, Songwriting, and Music Education classes.
The first retrospective of the work of J. M. W. 26 feb 2024 · The Turner exhibit is the wow factor at present and it really shows the potential of this space getting such a high profile exhibit and artists. Lovely welcoming staff too. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I don’t get the negative reviews- it’s an amazing creative space and overall building complex, especially given the size of Eastbourne itself - a gem indeed.
