19 lug 2005 · 2.0 out of 5 stars up and down...and down again Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2005 This movie could have been much better if only the director examined his work with some self criticism, and cut out (and replaced) about 40-60 minutes of boring and deadly dragging footage; that is what the movie fell into after 10 minutes or so of the promising opening scene.

The old bourgeois values versus a new liberalism, the young versus the old, racism and plain old relationships. In fact, considering the number of plotlines on the go, it's amazing that the film hangs together enough to give you an overall sense of theme, but Hrebejk more or less manages it. This isn't the Prague of weekend breaks and stag dos.
