Canadian R&B singer Remy Shand hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he spent his teenage years doing home recordings and delving into his parents’ extensive R&B and soul collection. At 19, Shand was signed to Motown Records in the U.S. and began recording his debut, THE WAY I FEEL, singing and playing every instrument.

The Way I Feel is the only studio album by Canadian R&B musician Remy Shand. The album was released in 2001 in Shand's native Canada, UK & Europe via Universal Records [1] and on March 12, 2002 in the United States via Motown Records. [4] Three singles were released from the album: "Take a Message", "The Way I Feel", and "Rocksteady".
