Virginia Ann Foxx ( née Palmieri; [1] [2] born June 29, 1943) is an American educator, businesswoman, and politician serving as the U.S. representative from North Carolina's 5th congressional district since 2005. Viviane Cox (Turnhout, 2 augustus 1950), beter bekend onder het pseudoniem Vivi, is een Vlaamse zangeres. Op haar twaalfde bracht ze haar eerste plaat uit. [1] In 1971 wist ze met haar Nederlandse versie van Mamy Blue de achtste plek te halen in de Vlaamse Top 10 .
Vivian is van oorsprong een Engelse voornaam, die zowel aan meisjes als aan jongens wordt gegeven. De naam Vivian is afgeleid van het Latijnse vivus , wat "levend" betekent. De naam betekent dus zoveel als "levendig, vol leven".
