Film Studios. Letter from AW Goodman with cuttings (see O-NFTS/NC/007) about the history of the [Beaconsfield] Film Studios. Studios started in 1914, (but the war delayed progress), by George Clark, not by Edgar Wallace.
It stars Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer, Emily Blunt as his wife “Kitty”, Matt Damon as Leslie Groves, Head of the Manhattan Project, Robert Downey Jr. as U.S. Atomic Energy Commission member Lewis Strauss, and Florence Pugh as Oppenheimer’s communist lover Jean Tatlock. Running time: 180 mins. NOTE EARLIER START TIME OF 7.30PM.
