Milton Abbey school has its own farm with different animals, produces its own honey and grows flowers, fruits and vegetables. The school has a diverse range of scholarships for ages 13+ and 16+ - academic, artistic, in the field of technological design, theatre, music and more sports (including individual sports: golf, shooting, cycling, sailing, etc.).

As a charity, we commit to enabling access for pupils who will most suit our unique approach, through both scholarships that recognise pupils' abilities, and through annually reviewed, means-tested bursaries that help wider access to Milton Abbey School. It’s not unusual for a Pilot (our word for Prefects), Head or Deputy Head of School to have started here as a Sixth Former. What we ask is that you ‘contribute, participate and challenge yourself’: that way, you will soon find yourself part of the community and make the most of the many opportunities Milton Abbey life offers.
At Milton Abbey, where our Hospitality Department has a proud tradition of launching culinary and hotel careers, many of our students have a particular interest in food preparation and service. The school community are only too happy to give feedback on their delicious creations at their many showcase events.
