This is a slow-growing tree and will only get to 10 to 25 feet tall after 15 years. American hophornbeam is an easy tree to maintain.

The bright leaves will start falling, and large limbs will look a little iffy. However, this assumption can easily damage even the most well-maintained gardens and backyards.
