The title On Stage would seem to suggest a live album, but Eydie Gorme's seventh album for ABC-Paramount Records shows no audible signs of having been recorded in concert. Rather, it is a studio set. The only stagey aspect of it is that it is a very lively collection of uptempo, neo-swing arrangements, and one could readily imagine Gorme before a big band (with strings) belting out these songs.
